2nd Spring Assignment

Spring Assignment - Remember, you will be shooting in natural lighting so the time of day will change the mood of the photo. Dusk or dawn are great options for the determined/patient  photographer.

1. Your mornings - Outside your window, in your back yard, from the breakfast table...
2. Rebirth -
3. Sunny days
4. Sunset
5. Wide Open spaces - landscapes, new, green, fresh
6. Rain- when shooting rain, keep in mind, reflections, dew, rain or dew droplets, puddles, stormy sky, rain hitting a lake or pond (Don't forget your umbrella!)
7. Creation - beauty
8. Excitement of warmth coming - birds chattering, squirrels scurrying
9. Moon shot

Please incorporate at least one of the following into each shot:
1. leading lines
2. Rule of thirds
3. framing
4. Aperture
5. semmetry
6. Get closer
7. Perspective
8. natural lighting

Shoot reflections. Shoot water. Droplets of dew and puddles after a downpour can be gorgeous subjects in the spring, and you’ll find that ponds, streams, and waterfalls have never looked so good.
During a period of spring rainfall it’s worth experimenting with pointing your camera downwards and taking some pictures of rain hitting a larger body of water for a unique, and distinctive, textured effect.
If you do plan to shoot during a downpour itself, then make sure you take the necessary precautions to protect your camera from the rain!
